UAL Mechanics Learn More About the Teamsters

UAL mechanics in Los Angeles recently had the opportunity to meet with Teamster members in order to learn more about the Teamsters Union. Successful house visits were made and the leafleting and meetings at the gates were highly productive. Chris Moore, a Continental Airlines mechanic and Chair of the Teamsters Aviation Mechanics Coalition (TAMC) was out at the gates, as was Bob Friend, a UPS mechanic representative to TAMC. Tim McAninley of the Transport Workers Union of America provided support, as did Clacy Griswold, International Representative to the Teamsters Airline Division.

Open houses were also recently held in Dulles, Virginia and in Denver, Colorado, where information on the Teamsters was distributed. Following the leafleting the mechanics went on house calls and distributed the Committee for Change newsletter!
